Affect Destiny is how OneHope Africa reaches a generation
A durable network of churches, partners and young leaders working across five regions of the continent — one mission, expressed locally.
Mission
To raise a missional generation — equipping teenagers and young adults to know God's Word and carry it to their peers, families and communities.
Vision
Every child and young person in Africa reached with Scripture, through a network of churches, partners and young leaders in every region.
Our story
From a local burden to a continental network
Affect Destiny exists to answer a simple question: who will carry God's Word to the next generation of Africa? The answer the network has settled on is the generation itself — young people mobilised, discipled and sent by their own churches.
Today the network operates through five regional teams, each shaped by the churches and partners of that region, and each connected to the wider work of OneHope Africa.

The six expressions
How the network works
Affect Destiny works through six expressions. Each one is a different door into the same mission, and each regional team activates them in the order its churches need.
Pastors
Shepherds equipped to teach Scripture to the young people already in their care.
Youth
Teenagers and students discipled, trained and sent to reach their own peers.
Church Planters
New congregations started with Scripture engagement built in from the first day.
Leaders
Regional and national leaders who carry the vision and multiply it locally.
Businesses
Owners and professionals who fund, host and sustain the work in their cities.
Media
Radio, film and digital channels that carry God's Word beyond the room.
